Healthy food allowance

Eligible members receive a monthly allowance on their Healthy Benefits+ Visa^® card to buy healthy foods and produce. Approved items like fruit, vegetables, healthy grains, dairy, beans and more can be purchased at participating grocery stores simply by scanning the barcode on the back of the card at checkout.

The allowance becomes effective on the first day of each month and doesn't roll over into the next month. Any portion of the allowance not used will expire at the end of the month, or upon plan termination. Eligible members will receive a welcome letter that includes the Healthy Benefits+ card to access the allowance.
