Our UCare plans offer hearing aid benefits to help you improve your quality of life and hearing. Routine hearing exams are recommended to detect and manage hearing loss early so you can continue to do the things you love. UCare Medicare Plans (HMO-POS) and UCare Advocate Plans (I-SNP) include a free routine exam without a copay along with the TruHearing® hearing aid benefit. TruHearing hearing aid benefit
UCare Medicare Plans, UCare Advocate Plans and UCare Medicare Supplement Plans include TruHearing hearing aid benefit. With this benefit, you save on a wide variety of hearing aids at a discounted price. All hearing aids come with a three-year warranty that includes repairs, a one-time loss and damage replacement and up to one year of follow-up visits.

Flexibility with UCare Your Choice plans
Use your combined flexible benefit allowance to pay for eligible hearing aids, dental services and prescription eyewear at the provider of your choice. Your Healthy Benefits+ Visa® card will have an allowance loaded annually, giving you the freedom to spend your benefit dollars where you need them most, on one or a combination of services. The allowance amount varies depending on your plan. See your Evidence of Coverage for more information about your combined flexible benefit allowance.
EssentiaCare hearing aid benefits
All EssentiaCare plans include coverage for routine hearing tests and diagnostic hearing exams with a copay. EssentiaCare Grand members can use their annual allowance to purchase hearing aids. EssentiaCare Access members can use their annual combined flexible benefit allowance to buy hearing aids, prescription eyewear and/or dental services with their Healthy Benefits+ card.
